About the position

Your challenge will be making the very best of the following tasks and activities:

  • Responsible for installation of the VitroJet at customer’s sites
  • Analyze and review customer findings to determine the cause of the problem of the customer and subsequently resolve issues found (e.g. replacement, repair, maintenance)
  • Provide customers with regular reports and feedback on their service requests and actively develop and maintain the relation with the customer
  • Familiar with the VitroJet on both module and system level (e.g. underlying processes, electrical & mechanical interfaces, software)
  • Report common customer complaints and recommendations to R&D as feedback for future product development (e.g. features, maintenance)
  • Provide training for customers and distributors
  • Assist in R&D projects and quality control
  • Proper documentation of all your activities is key

Skills & experience

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering with 3+ years of hands-on experience in R&D, preferably in the field of mechatronic systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Customer focussed and have excellent communication and inter-cultural skills
  • English is at a full professional proficiency level, both spoken and written
  • Highly motivated team player, have a creative, self-starting ‘can-do mentality’
  • Highly independent and work in a structured way.
  • Organize, well-planned, disciplined and eager to keep learning.
